    I do not find a TB-1142P

    Assuming you meant MX5140, color machine

      it was supposed to pertain to removing the shutters on the MX-M5140...I got the number from someones reply post...not sure what it said exactly... trying to get an idea if they can be removed permanently...

        If they are anything like a MX-4110 they come out easily. You don't even have to take out laser unit.
        I just pulled mine right off from inside the unit itself. Not sure if same. Good luck!!!!
