Getting Poor Quality Color Prints on MX-4501N; B&w printing is ok

Please see attached image. Colors are printing faded on MX-4501N. Also, the print feels gritty when it comes out of printer and some of it rubs off. This is not a problem with B&W printing. B&W prints and copies come out just fine.

      Hi

Start by printing single color see which one is at fault.

      That is your starting point.

      Good luck.

Gritty is usually too much developer in the mix. Run 25-1 for 10 seconds and see what the reading are for CMY. These older Sharp are known for developer clumping in high humidity settings.

Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!
