Replaced the MFPC board...still no go. I think we are to the point to have the manufacturer
come down and just haul it off and give us another one. I don't like sending out machines that
    might have ghosts in them.

Long shot. The only thing that came to mind was SIM 26-38, B which will disable printing when the fuser web has ended. Try setting B to 0.

Perhaps the 'web end' has triggered somehow but I would think it would indicate that on the display.

The tickbox isn't in the NIC page. Try system settings>print settings> are there any tickboxes within any menus in there?

After a bit of hunting down, this is what we had preventing printing before.
Make sure NIC is enabled in this setting. If it is disabled, you can still web browse but printing via nic will not work. Pointless setting that will ruin your day

I un-checked the Enable Network Port and was still able to navigate the web page. Print jobs would not print. This is on a MX-6240. Grasping at straws.

Did you try an SD card?

No I haven't. How would that affect it being able to print from the network?

I have no idea but every time I have a strange problem with a sharp I replace the SD card if it has one. 9 times out of 10 that fixes it.

What does the job log say? Job log can be downloaded to USB sim 56-4, or from the web page under system setting - system control.

Print data is stored on the hard drive. I'd replace that first.

Re: Toshiba version of MX-M1205 not printing

                      Oh the fun continues...
Replaced HDD, STILL will not print.
Our I.T. guy did get it to print, directly with a network cable. It wouldn't before, but now it does.
Also, if he uses a router, it will print, but, apparently it won't via our network (Sysco switch) type
system. Toshiba (Sharp) is wanting a packet capture...stay tuned sports fans, the fun continues.
Oh, the salesman for this account wants us to "take a chance" and install it, hoping it will print.
Of course, this machine is way out in the middle of nowhere, 3 hours from the office.
I told him fine, we'll install it, and if it doesn't work, then YOU have to be the one to figure out
why. He said but I don't know anything about these machines. I said that's why YOU are a
salesman, and WE are TECHNICIANS. The machine is staying put, until it can print from here.

We have seen a managed switch kill a connection to a Sharp. Turned out the Sharp was deemed "too chatty" and the switch just shut down it's network connection. I think our IT tech turned off everything in the copiers network settings that didn't need to be on. It wasn't easy to figure out. Sharp came in and sat at the customers location with our IT tech until they figured it out.

Interesting about the machine being to chatty. What was the final outcome?

He said in both cases the customers were printing through the server. If they aren't printing through the server I think you would add the IP address of each PC.

                              Security
                              Filter Setting
                              Filter: Enable
                              IP Address Filter Settings
add the IP address of the server or PCs

He said this keeps the copier from communicating with every network device and the only communication is the back and forth to the server.

Also shut down all the other non-essential stuff in network settings for good measure.

Just a thought, (maybe a brain fart, who knows) Is there POE going to this? From a POE switch. I've seen Sharp not like that much.

                                Good Luck!
