sharp mx-c357F is printing too light

i have a sharp mx-c357F is printing too light. i tried changing the drivers and it is still having the same issue. I tried printing on my office copier and notice a difference. The canon copier is darker than the sharp copier. they can scan and copy fine. What other settings can i change?

It is unusual for it to be printing lite but copying just fine. Did you try changing the toner? I believe this is a lexmark/sharp so that might do the trick. What does your supplies report say and how does the copy density look on the report.

    Good luck

Their old toner was running low so they changed the toner. And where would i check the copy density and where would i find it?

Best way to check copy settings is through the web interface. Settings, Copy...Content Type, Temperature, Darkness. There are also Advanced Imaging settings there.

Posting on the Lexmark forum might give you better answers. :\

Also, check make sure toner save mode is unchecked.

Now, I'm not sure if this Lexmark Reboxed MFP has the same simulations as a native Sharp, but Sharp "light Prints" are generally REALLY easy to solve.

Clean LSU windows, chargers, PTC, IDS, Drum Discharge lamp.
          Developer, TC2, Drum, Charger, with calibrations 25.2/ 44.2/ 44.6/ 44.27/ 44.26/ 61.13/ 61.11 (L, M, D)/ 46.74

          Good luck!

Its a lexmark...just put the 'toner darkness" to 5 and its good to go...

settings - print - quality - toner darkness

We set the copy Darkness to 6 on all Lexmark & Sharpmark machines before they are installed.
