    MX-FN29 Question

Has anyone had any luck bypassing the Saddle Stich Tray Full Detection on the MX-FN29 finishers? Most Saddle Finishers we have been able to remove the tray and trick the paper detect sensor and just let the booklets fall into a paper box but this one has two Sensors in the saddle arm that look to work in conjunction with each other. Just wanted to check before I told our customer that it wasn't possible on this model!

    Re: MX-FN29 Question

The Saddle Output Tray needs to be installed so the sensors work correctly, but there's plenty of folks who simply unscrew the end vertical stopper on the output tray and let the booklets fall off the end. I've seen one user have a clear sheet of vinyl attached to the tray making it slippery. The booklets slide straight off the end.

Thanks! That seems to work on the Ledger Paper Size booklets but on the Letter Size stays put. Think its just going to have to be the way it is on this Model Finisher.
