[Error Code] Error code F2-64 with Sharp MX-5070N

Hi everyone, good day to you. I'm facing a hard trouble. My MX-5070N occures error code F2-64. I did some step below :
- change new original toner cartridge
- cleaning toner hopper and sensor in hopper
after few day, this trouble appears again.
Please kindly teach me how to solve this trouble forever

It is likely going to be the toner supply motor or the gears in the unit. We have had to replace the drive motor a couple of times on different machines.

I checked toner supply motor runs normally by sim 10-1, and the gear in the unit also good. Many thanks for your reply.

Most of the time replacing the black DV unit and with fresh DV fixes this problem. Make sure fimrware is current also.

I did find notes that a tech changed a middle toner hopper unit once to get a F2-64 to go away on a MX-5071. This customer also had bad power so we made them to run a didicated line.

I've done the same thing and thought it was good. It wasn't until I tried one of the other colors and notice a very audible difference in it and then swapped the two and the problem moved. Try the motor and gear unit. Sometime we talk ourselves out of the solution.

We had one of these recently...

Swapped the toner motor, hopper assy, DVbox, still got F2-64

Turned out to be the PCU PWB
