Had same issue with 455N this was response posted by blackcat
Followed it and my issue was fixed

On Sharp products it's common to have accessories cause such problems. I would start out by disconnecting every non-essential accessory, then run it. If your problem vanishes. Power off, reconnect (1) accessory, power up, then re-check operation. Repeat until you problem re-occurs to pin down the offending accessory.

Hi DINGO, something else that can cause the lock-up is the touchscreen. Dirt or other contaminates (read food particles) gets between the touchscreen and the panel, locking out any other input. Disassemble and clean, you should be okay.

            Dingo,
Is this machine receiving copies, facsimile, and prints continually from all sources at high volume?

I had two Tigers that just could not process all the image data that was being dumped on it. In particular, high volume facsimile and high volume printing simultaneously can lock up the processor.

In one case we replaced the Tiger with a Jupiter (faster processor). In another case, we set up a Dragon alongside the Tiger to accept the crushing print volume.

The way that I could duplicate the lockup was to have the customer send a typical print job (40 originals, duplex, collate, 100 sets, staple) then receive just a one page fax. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
