Re: MXM5071 with grey area at the bottom
If you have replaced the DV-Unit and Drum, ensure that you have cleaned the laser unit glass. Additionally, check the fuser belt, primary belt cleaning blade, and secondary transfer belt for any issues. Also, confirm that the paper being used is original and not a copy. Finally, attempt to print a test page to verify if the problem persists

Had a similar issue on an MXm365, had to replace the process unit as well as DV unit, the process unit was scratching the drum, and the drum scratched the mag roller. Kept pulling DV every 20k or so.Leave a comment:

Replace the whole DV unit.
We had a problem 2 years ago with humidity in toner that destroyed 3 DV units.Leave a comment:

Re: MXM5071 with grey area at the bottom
Hello,
What i see is that developer is pulled (we also got the message F2-40). The unit is almost empty. It looks like the developer is burned around the fusing unit. This has been the second time in almost 7 months now. We can replace the developer offcourse but i believe that something else is the problem.
Does anyone maybe have any ideas.
I would also replace the waste toner container as that can cause the issue too.Leave a comment:

Yeahhhhh, the fusing belt looks pretty rough. Coating is worn off and toner is sticking to it. Could also try to run a fusing clean in System Settings, but I don't think that will help you.Leave a comment:

Have you replaced the transfer roller? I've had a few doing that on the edges of prints before.Leave a comment:

How does the fusing unit looks like?
Maybe you can test it, if you print in A4R to test it. I think the pressure roller is dirty.Leave a comment:

MXM5071 with grey area at the bottom
Hello,
At the customer site we have a Sharp M5071 (only black-white) printer. During each print it leaves a grey area at the bottom, see attachment. We allready replaced DV and drum, but the problem still occurs.
Does anyone maybe have an idea?
