    SHARP AR-C270

    Dear All,

I have one Sharp AR-C270 with print comtroller. It was working fine but now it does not get ready. Each time I start the machine print comtroller goes to Initializing mode and after that it swithes to Booting Print Controller but it stucks on the same condition and does not get ready. I had another Print Controller and I just replaced the hard drive with the defective one and it start working but now there is same condition now. Any idea how to resolve this issue. I have Print Controller service kit and user kit but not sure how to solve the problem.
    Thanks in advance.

The problem is most likely with the power supply in the Fiery (especially if you have the AR-PE2 Fiery). I've had this a few times before. First, check the small cooling fan is working in the side of the fiery. If that is working, but still not booting correctly, change the power supply unit inside the Fiery.
If you have the AR-PX3 Fiery, Change the Hard drive first. After that, change the Power supply.

For your own testing and to be sure it is the Fiery, remove the Fiery altogether, and just run the machine as a stand-alone copier. If it comes up to Ready, you know you have an issue in the Fiery.

    Either HDD or PSU.

Thank you, As I wrote in my trouble that copier is working perfectly but fiery AR-PE2 is not booting. Once I changed the hard Drive from other working fiery it resolve the problem. But now second has the same problem.

Sounds like you are answering your own question.......

Are you saying that you installed a good known working hard drive into your problem Fiery and now your second fiery is not booting up?

Are you saying you installed the problem hard drive into your second Fiery?

By the sounds of it, you had a Fiery which was not booting, you installed another hard drive into it, which fixed the problem, but now your second Fiery is not working.

Are you saying you installed the hard drive from the first Fiery into the second?
Obviously if the first hatrd drive was causing the Fiery not to bootup correctly, it will not make the second Fiery bootup either.

Am I right here or are you doing something different?

You are not answering my question.....

From what you have been saying, you have put the 'faulty' hard drive in your second, previously working Fiery.
If that is the case, of course the Fiery will not bootup.

As I have previously said, the issue you are having is either caused by the HDD or Power Supply in the Fiery.

That is your answer. Do some diagnostics and you will see for yourself.

Problem is with the fiery hard drive. But my question is how to update or reload data in the hard drive.
