Just visited a customer for image loss. Checked and found out that internal prints also suffer from image loss. I attributted this fault to registration clutch but its indicated on parts guide as 'paper feed clutch'. Can anyone help if this is the correct fiX and the clutch. (PCLC-0298FCZZ). Sometimes the copies comes ok and get weird cutting of lead edge or top edge if fed A4R.

I didn't see any questions in this thread, but I have a few comments anyway. Hard to believe, isn't it?
The registration clutch is very easy to diagnose. Just take off the back cover and look for the spray of rust particles for 12cm diameter around the registration clutch. It will also start to make a squealing noise that is hard to ignore. The typical lifespan of a registration clutch is 1M prints. I changed them every 3rd PM like clockwork. And the part number you want is: PCLC-0328FCZZ. I think that covers everything. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Also, if this problem is a large trail edge with a cutoff lead edge, check the MPRD2 sensor operation.
And if the machine was manufactured before August 2004, replace the Interface PG unit with the modified version PGIDM2038FCZ1 to increase the operating margin of the MPRD2 sensor.Comment
