    Sharp MX-M620N Driver Install Help

I'm running Windows XP 32 version and are trying to install the driver for PCL5E or PCL6 for Sharp MX-M620N

I have downloaded the drivers from Sharp but Windows keeps saying files not found when I try to install them pointing to the directory that the drivers are in.

Thanks for any help you can give me !

Running the exe is always the easiest way to go for Sharp Drivers. (As noted, he beat me to the punch.)

When I run the exe setup program and run standard installation it say's "No MPF Found on network" check to see if power is on. I'm trying to connect via USB cable do I need to run a network cable to the Sharp.
I was just going to connect it via USB ?

        Thanks for any help !

You will need the postscript option - MXPKX1.

Did you extract the file after downloading? This would result in missing files. I am not certain, but I don't think Sharpdesk will work USB. Postscript is an option on this machine, so if you have Mac or want PS drivers, you need the option on the machine. Personally, I like the "add a printer" route; step by step and fewer conflicts. You could also try a crossover cable and connect right to it.

Crossover cable is referring to a network cable with both A and B type RJ-45 setups... Goes into the network cable slot on the copier.

I have the PCL6 drivers installed via USB cable but now my problem is when I print and go to the setting menu the finisher is grayed out so I can't send the documents to the finisher.
Is there some setting to get the print driver to see the finisher ?

Thanks for any help you can give me !
