Have a Sharp MX-M620 that i just added to my fleet and i am having some quality issues. The text is OK but when copying/printing any solids i have a shadow on the left side of the solid shape. Lets say i made a copy of a square it looks like i took the square and dragged it to the right leaving drag marks to the left of the square. They machine only has 124K on it. Does anyone have any ideas?

Re: Sharp MX-M620 having copy and print quality issues
Hi,
It sounds like an over-toning problem.
Enter in secret simulation (# * CA #) 80-02 and record showed value.
This value was recorded with last auto-toner reg. (SIM. 25-02).
Try to increase (20 point at time) this value.
Print 50-100 copies and check quality.
If there is no variation you always can restore the initial density value.
Remember, value increased = less toner. Value decreased = more toner.
Good luck!Comment

Re: Sharp MX-M620 having copy and print quality issues
I did make an interesting observation while diagnosing my problem. when copying in auto, text, text photo i still had the same quality issues, but when going in to the photo mode copies are coming out clear and crisp. I am going to check the high voltage values and report back.Comment
