I had to reset the pcu of my 450 and the serial# is now changed , and so the printer & scanner are no longer in fonction ,Is there anything i can do to change it back or if it's consider dead?
You probably will have to have new nsx and pb keys issued with the new serial.
Did the same on a mxm263, and had to have new keys.
Check to make sure the model designation is sim 26 is correct.
If you replaced the board did you swap the EEPROM chip? That has the correct serial number, if you actually changed the serial number then you will have do as mentioned above.
You can send the eeprom in with a picture of the serial number plate and invoice from sharp from when you bought it. You also have to get a case started with the hot line. We did this once and it took awhile to get it done but they did reprogram the correct serial number back in and all was fine. You may want to contact your sharo service rep. To help speed up the process.
EEPROM serial number can be changed on these old machines through elevated sims, but if you don't know them it's best not to share typically. Best bet is to do it through the Sharp channels as suggested, if you still have the old board you can swap the EEPROM over and it should bring all the data with it.
