Sharp has an up date for the laser board it now uses a different board with a lower voltage. What isn't clear is if the new board works with the old laser unit. I tried ordering the new laser complete assembly, which is on back order. My question is has anyone tried anything else like stuffing insulation or some other way to quiet the electrical hum down.
