I tried to move both of the potentiometers on the LSU board but NG does not changes to OK. Any other suggestions, thanks.

process to try to solve a e7-02 in detail.

1- Turn on the machine em simulation code #*C* - Program 61 - Sub code 01 or 02 - test lsu
2 - with the the machine disassembled and accessible lsu there are 2 red screws on the LSU board, try to find these screws with the extent to which the test appears lsu ok. Whenever you move the bolts to be tested in simulation to see when LSU appears OK. is a process that requires two people, one in the simulation machine and the other on the lsu move the screws carefully.

regarding this error can be resolved tuning the laser in the blue screws very carefully with the help of code 61-01 and 02 ng ... ok, but the best and replace full lsu.

Would you kindly elaborate this process in little detail? I will appreciate your assistance.

The F2 code will not affect the laser. Those are usually triggered when the waste toner fills up before the toner bottle is emptied and the drum augur can not turn properly, either stalling or seizing altogether. Your laser should remain unaffected.

I have found Sharp AR550U. The machine has an error code F2-31. This code is related to the PCU. Can I use LSU from this machine to replace in my Sharp AR-550N. Can that error code create a problem and effect the LSU? please advise. thanks

The difference between an N version and a U version is the NIC and HDD. All other parts are the same, you can take an LSU from 550U to replace LSU in 550N.

as long as they are both 550's they have the same lsu. I asume they are both arm.

Time to replace the LSU , either laser diode or beam detect sensor failed or was nocked out of place. adjusting/replacing beam detect sensor needs precise alignment which cannot be done in field same for laser diode.

After opening the unit and cleaning the mirrors and checking the wires, installed back and the code E7-02 is constant now. Prior to opening the unit it was working on and off. Maybe there is something that needs to be checked. thanks

I tried to clean the mirrors and checked for any loose connection. Still having the same problem. Is someone know if anyone has a used lsu that I can buy. thanks
