[Electrical] Sharp MX3110 display is responding slow

I have a Sharp MX3110 with the display responding slowly or not at all. The only fix I have is to cycle the power. Any ideas?

Make sure the firmware is up to date and run a screen calibration.

In addition to the firmware update, clear the job log, and optimize the HDD. You should see some improvement in the response after rebooting (until the job log fills again).
The panel will run slow because the UI program is located on SD card and reading/writing can't keep pace with the input.
Newer models have the UI located on the CF card which has a much faster read/write speed.
Kudos to a most reliable source.

Updating the firmware seems to have taken care of it. If it returns I will try all of this. Thanks for the help.

Keep an eye on it....we thought we had fixed that problem by upgrading firmware, and a week later the problem came back. We ended up backdating the firmware on more than one machine to fix this.

We have turned off the Wsd protocol and that seems to solve slow responding Displays for us .

              Where to disable WSD protocol?
              Thank you!

Machine web page, network settings, printer port setting, WSD disable.

Actually, it's under the Security Settings.

Up date. Sharp just released new firmware for this machine on 5/20/15. It addressed some problems with WSD.
