    Toshiba e Studio 355se

    Hello everyone!
First time poster, long time reader of information from this site. I have 3 e Studio 355se's that need to be completely factory reset. I work for an electronics recycling company that resells older equipment after I try to fix them up. I tried a couple of different 08 codes(203, 672, 693, 690 value 2) but when I print out functions list there is still the name of the school we received these copiers from. I do not need to save any settings or anything as we are going to be selling them probably to a true resale place that can set all of the settings. Thank you very very much for your help!

You are using old codes. The 355se is ebridgex and the codes are different. I know 9083 is nic initialise and 9081 is dept management initialise. The hdd is formated on 3-C option 3 but then firmware needs applying or the machine wont work.

I tried 9081 but it did not do anything. I am thinking that I am going to have to format the hard drive and call it a day. Thank you very much for the reply anyways NSD. Very much appreciated.

You are using the right codes, the e355SE is eBridge 3, not eBridge X. However, those codes will not clear the fax ID which is what I assume is showing up on your Function List. Press User Functions key, select "Admin", type in password: 123456, go to "Fax" and select "Terminal ID". Clear the name and number and that should do it.
Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?

Hold down * and 1 while powering on then enter 100 start. That initialized the fax option to factory defaults.
