    Toshiba studio 255 C440

When reboot failure (08-400) and changed thermistor soonOnce again the fault. Already checked the teflon, lighting and thermostat. the wiring also okay. The summer time is set to our town.
Is there a way to avoid this failure with some programming by 08?

    Thanks and greetings

I am not familiar with this model but some other toshibas have a thermopile that is mounted in the machine under the fuser that needs to be cleaned or the fuser codes keep popping up. I dont know if this model has one but if it does check that.

thermopile is on ricoh machines. c440 in my overall experience is 99% thermistor failure. and on another time i had on the fuser chassis a broken plastic driver plug (at the diameter of a pen that extends from the fuser by 2 cm that plugs in the machine. it does nothing than keep the fuser in same place)

Most of the cases I've seen were power related:

In one case I was getting ground to neutral readings of 3.6VAC
In one case I was getting ground to neutral readings over 5.0vac (55amps of load on a 20A circuit).
In one case the MFP was plugged into a 750W battery backup, which screeched in protest every time the copier was used. (If you really want a UPS battery backup it will have to be 1500W or more).

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
