ongoing issue MJ -1042 with CC93 error

Error is for Knurled roller shift solenoid abnormality: An abnormality occurs in the knurled roller shift solenoid. [MJ-1042] this problem is occurring on an estudio 4508a

This problem started 1 week after delivery and has been ongoing from month to month. Usually restarting the machine will temporarily clear the code. When I contacted toshiba tech support they told me they have little to no experience with this issue and advise me to lube all shafts in the finisher. Technician on the phone has told me that sometimes the lubrication from the factory will tend to dry out and cause bindage. Anyone have any insight on thisnissue? Hopefully we won't be forced to order a new finisher for this machine :/
..thanks for reading. Any help is appreciated

I suspect the MJ1042 is basically the same build as the MJ1032 and MJ1036 inner finishers, with basically the same problems. If that is the case I would order up the feed shafts and bushings involved and clean out all that gummy black grease, and lubricate the bushings with TriFlow (light oil). Just squirting oil all over the place will not do it. The bushings sieze to the shaft, must be disassembled, the worn parts replaced, and the bushings lubricated with light oil.

I wrote this document for the MJ1032 but I think it will point you in the right direction. It was necessary to zip the document into a folder. The forum doesn't seem to like .docx file types. =^..^=

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I second BlackCats's document. This is what I do on that error code. And just oiling won't last
