    Toshiba MJ 1032 Parts

    I have a customer who broke some parts inside the staple unit. (where the staple cartridge slides into). I looked in the service manual and can not find a parts breakdown for the staple unit. Does anyone know if parts are available to repair it or is it an assy? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

      not sure on that model.. some had separate service/part manuals for accessories

              It's an assembly and it's a good thing. I've had mixed to bad results from disassembling staplers. =^..^=
              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                  Thank you - I looked it up in the parts manual after you posted. It looks like a box, not like the part at all.

                      This. My general rule of thumb is if either the clincher or the stapler starts to play up, play it safe and replace it. I decided to remove the front clinch unit on site and decided to see if i could 'unseize' it. Yeah, no. Many words were thrown about that day.

                          Just got a quote on this part $443.49. What the hell! I could get an off lease machine for that much.

                              There was a company we used to rebuild Konica staplers. they did a good job...but i can't remember their name. Seems to me their pricing for rebuild was 1/2 the cost of an OEM replacement.
