    [Misc] Toshiba E-Studio 257/MR3028

The 257 copies skewed slightly clockwise and an inch and a half low, neither the manual adjustments on the ADF or the adjustments in 05 mode moved the image at all. I am aware that some of the 05 adjustments are in fractions of millimeters and made an adjustment that should have moved the image roughly an inch and a quarter higher but the image remained in the same spot. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you looked at the print ratio and write start position sub scan? The image adjustments tend to work better when you start at the beginning:

    print ratio main scan
    print write start main scan
    print ratio sub scan
    print write start sub scan
    scan ratio main scan
    scan write start main scan
    scan ratio sub scan
    scan write start sub scan
    scan lead edge void
    scan side edge void
    scan trail void
    DF write start main scan
    DF write start subscan

So the thing you're adjusting should be dead last. You may find that the thing needing adjustment was 10 steps before the thing you're adjusting.

If you are having variable registration, be sure to check the registration clutch. You might also check the transfer roller bushings. The manual provides lots of useful details on those image adjustments. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      Firstly, I agree with Blackcat.

secondly, enter 05 mode directly and not via the service UI as I have seen that cause 05 modes to not work correctly.

also, the RADF 05 codes especially likes to be finicky and not really do anything until you do a full reboot of the machine...or look like they did the trick and then you reboot the machine the actual amount of movement is different than your test print in 05 mode.

Thirdly, make sure all your firmware are up to date before you tinker, not after.

Did you reinstall the RADF pins to make sure the doc feeder is mounted squarely on the copier?

First you must determine if the skew is from the copier or the document feeder. Run a counter page printout first. If THAT is skewed then focus on the copier. I have seen the white plastic support strap for the ADU break and cause it not to close properly thus causing skew.
