Toshiba 3540C Toners all say 100%

This thing will work without any toner cartridges and any cartridges put in all read 100%. Is there a 08 mode setting or something else to put it back to normal? I have about 5 machines sitting with the same thing. Thanks for any help

If you tell the machine that you changed the cartridges, it will believe you and start again at 100%. Obviously it's going to run out of toner eventually. When the toner density starts dropping off it will ask for more, and go to 0%. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The toner sensors are obviously shut off as they should not allow copies to be made without cartridges. Somewhere the must be a setting that will turn it on or disable them.

      Thanks for your reply though

Take a look at pg 5-35 of the handbook. I suspect this was someones workaround for blowing toner cartridge EEPROMs (common on this series). Personally, if I figured out why it's doing that, I wouldn't change a thing since your machine is not blowing toner cartridge EEPROMs currently. =^..^=
