    [Misc] Paper Usage Count

    Hello,

I work for a school and am setting up our copiers to track teacher paper usage. I've set each teacher up with a unique code they use when using the copier so we can track their usage. However, I noticed that when someone prints/copies double-sided, the counter counts it as two usages when I would like it to count it as one (we only care about number of pieces of paper used, not pages copies). Is there a way to track this using TopAccess? I am a novice with the copier and have read the manual, but I am having no luck finding a way to track the number of pieces of paper used as opposed to the sides of pages copied. Thank you for any help/advice you can give.

I don't think you can, the accounting is based on page impressions rather than physical sheets. You can only adjust via service mode whether large format paper (eg: A3) is counted as 1 or 2 pages per side.
No, I will not send you Manuals, Software or your own little repair Genie to fix all your problems for you.

I was worried that would be the case. Thank you for your answer.
