AirPrint from mobile doubles meter read?

Hey all, I got a strange thing going on.

I have a customer who has 3 e2515ac's. They use their phones / tablets a lot. I noticed their color meter is abnormally high as to what their contract is allotted. Customer was wondering if their mobile jobs that were all in black were counting as color, so I took some time to test this.

1: Created document called all black text, sent document 4 times:
    all black text test.pdf Print LT 1 1 10/14/2024 14:21:15 OK mobile
2: Reads as 1 page. Registered on black meter. No issue there.

3: HOWEVER, on the meter on my test machine (off leased e5015ac for parts and such), every time I send this to print, it clicks twice on the black meter. Regular letter paper is being printed. I cannot figure this out. Any ideas or known issues with AirPrint and mobile?

Are you sure the print parameters the mobile device is using is not set to A4 instead of LT.

Are you using Mopira or AirPrint to remote print from?

Double check the double count settings in 08-6010 through 08-6018.
Would also be interested to test via iPhone, Android and PC, it may be the apps double clicking the meter.
Also, if their phone app is set to color, it will click the color meter as they are using "process black"...

I can do that. Give me a few and I'll do a full test. I might have an Android floating around that still works.
