    2515ac HDD Replacement

I have a Toshiba 2515ac that gets error F510 error and machine just keeps rebooting.
I've ordered a new hard drive for it but wanted to know what issues I might have as the machine has papercut installed on it, and Ive never had to replace one with Papercut on before.

replacing hdd does not affect paper cut...you just need to set the right admin password

.... assuming you ordered a Toshiba original SED-HDD.

This is a known error on this model (E510,520,570,580), they added a washer to a LGC board screw due to a poor ground. We have had 3 of these this year thus far.

It's not necessary to re-add the device on Papercut as the device is tied to the IP address, it doesn't care about model or serial number, as long as it retains the same IP address. Depending on the API version used for the Papercut interface additional settings will need to be configured. If it is a V2 device you will need to setup all the security, ldap and EWB settings again via TopAccess, it's easiest if you have another device on Papercut nearby you can clone saving you the headache of setting this up again. If it is a V3 device Papercut will automatically push out the settings to the device once it recognises it is on the network again, however you still need to re-setup SMTP and Homescreen layout, you can also clone another V3 device, however you will need to delete all the URLs under the EWB settings in TopAccess as those URLs point to a specific device id in Papercut, they will be re-populated automatically.
No, I will not send you Manuals, Software or your own little repair Genie to fix all your problems for you.

Replaced the HDD and the LGC board screw (thanks @majorolla) cloned from another machine on the network and all working?

              Appreciate the help people 👍
