Has it got the HDD option some of the Lows use an SSD and don't do scan to local.
Check the scan to folder settings in the admin area of Web page, check the permissions on first page of admin area.

You can disable this in Top Access under Admin. Any chance someone has been in the UI playing around, or is this a new install?

... this happened to me yesterday. I wasted an hour trying to get Scan to FileShare working only to learn that someone had disabled the HDD in the first Admin tab of Top Access.

When working properly, I like to create a shortcut on the desktop and rename it Toshiba Scan and change the icon to something more colorful.

Make sure under Windows Control panel, Network settings that File & Print sharing is enabled.

In the search area, type in \\ipaddress /

When you see FileShare show up, shortcut it.

Files will arrive in a folder name SCAN

... if you right click the file you can send it to many places like My Computer or Email Recipient.

It takes two minutes to complete and is part of my backup scan system if Scan to Folder/Email is down.

When down, I always first try to Windows 10 Quick Assist or TeamViewer in to save time/travel expense/ aggravation/help the planet/ loss of potential productivity.
