Within service mode, by setting 08-3820 to 1 it activates ECC cloud connect for automatic reporting to our servers for meters and other statistics, it greatly increases the amount of time the mfp takes to boot up as it goes through 1-8 different checks. It doesn't seem to be a firmware update issue as I've seen this across multiple series of Toshiba products that had current firmware. I've thought about adding another RAM card to the sys board but that doesn't seem very cost effective. I know if it's an SSD it might boot quicker however that's extremely not cost effective. Is there any way to speed this ECC process up? I find that I spend most of my time troubleshooting a call just waiting for the mfp to boot and I don't want to deactivate it every time I go onsite.

Re: ECC Cloud Connect slowing boot process
Sadly, I know of no way to speed up the ECC connection process. But I agree, on a call where you have to reboot multiple times it's brutal waiting for "service in progress..." to clear. Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?
