ES4511 print fades towards bottom of page

    Hi

ES4511, both colour and black and white prints fade to almost unreadable towards the bottom of the page. Any idea what can cause this and how I might fix it?

The top 2/3 of the page are ok, then it starts to fade at the bottom.

    Thanks,

    Jason

This sounds like something to do with the Transfer Belt, as in, it may be damaged on one side or not properly seated somehow, maybe on front frame?? How old/how long has the belt been in the machine?

Since it's a 4511, and these run just a tad bit dusty.... I would pull the laser and clean the slit glass. Remember..."writes to black", if your not getting enough laser to the drum, copies will be light. Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

3511 here. Print was fading at bottom of page also. Had a blue toner leak inside. Had blue on part of laser slit glass (right side). Cleaned it and all works fine now
