    clear "time for provenative maintenance" toshiba 3500c... help!

    i have a toshiba 3500c that has a "time for provenative maintenance" message in the display. i have looked at the service manual and followed the steps on clearing the counters but the message is still there. is there another way of removing the message maybe in [0][8] mode?? thanks,
