I have this doc feeder on a 2570 that locks up intermittently when feeding in . I have replaced the feed roller and cleaned the shaft and the one way bearings inside the gears at the rear and replaced the sep pad Any ideas would be appreciated

We had problems like this in the past when we had a number of these we had bought from a supplier that crowded machines all togeather and the help liked to walk on the tops of them. The main support beam inside the intake side would bend and the white paddle would get stuck in the up position, down postition or anywhere in between. After taking a number of these apart to straighten them we started just reaching inside and yanking upward. Seemed to work just as well. People will tend to lean on the access door and after a period of time the bend is there. Give it a try and let me know how it works.
