    2830C Transfer belt on 3500C?

Has anyone tried using a 2830c transfer belt in a 3500c. Just the belt not the whole unit. I have a 2830 belt and the customers 3500c is ripped and down. I may try it out since it will be 2 days until a 3500 belt arrives. Has anyone tried this?

I was going to try this at my shop a few weeks ago but the connectors are different between the 2 belt units. The 2830C belt unit has 1 more pin on the connector. I do not know if the actual belt is the same though, you may be able to swap that.

just checked and part#s for "belts" are different

I have seen the same thing on the last brand I used to work on, Sharp's, different models, but the transfer belt will interchange, sometimes the different part number is just a upgrade from the last one, Toshiba's belts seem to go a lot longer though.
Work is nice when you just work on one brand.
