    [CQ] Kyoshiba 650c (E-studio 6520c/6530c)

I have a customer that is getting pinkish copies and prints. First service call I forced CQ adjustments and every thing was fine until they did a long print job(250 copies). Second service call could not duplicate problem, but I did swap drum potential sensors and drums to see if and when the problem would come back if I would possibly have blue(cyan) copies. Not the problem. They just called and still getting pink copies. I did look at the copies closely and I am not losing any of the other colors but it is laying down too much magenta. I checked contacts on developer unit and everything looks fine. No background on copies. Any ideas. Stumped.

I'm not farmiliar with the Kyoshiba model, does it have the same firmware/service modes as the Toshiba 6520c? If so any time there is a problem with drum surface potential sensor control, you must re-enable the SPC setting 08-2561 to 1 after correcting dirty potential sensor problems ect, otherwise the circuit will remain disabled and will not do any correction. The Toshiba models will come up with "Service required for SPC" error when this code becomes disabled. Also is the grid clean? I've found the grids on these models get buildup and will start causing background.

Turn the Text/photo setting to text. This will take care of it.

I will try that. Does this setting also affect print jobs?
