I am going to assume that the YSoft SafeQ Toshiba Embedded Terminal works in a similar process to the PaperCut MF embedded terminal and if so, then there quite a few 08 codes to change.

Go back to YSoft and they should have all the supporting documentation on how to setup the machine according to their requirements or get a YSoft certified tech in to do it for you.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

U need to enable the external counter, 08-9016 = '1' for ysoft hardware terminal.

For embedded terminal, need to install External Interface Enable GS-1020.
