Toshiba 4520c during copying massaging ( warming up)

    Toshiba 4520c during copying massaging ( warming up)

    Hello , toshiba 4520c goes to warming up during copying, and start copying again after 15 to 20 mintues. i notice that the fixing drive is running only during the the warming up massage.drum developer and transfer belt drive is not running.plz can some one help me . thanks in advance

    Did u check the fuser unit, might be heater lamp problem...

      Clean the thermopiles.They are located on the frame behind the fuser unit.They are infrared sensors that monitor the temperature of the fuser belt.Although they probably will not be dirty just reconnecting them may help.

        I had very similar problem with eST351c. Try to look at thermistor/thermostats at fusing section. Sometimes there's too big gap between them and belt/rollers, and temperature drop after few copies, and then machine goes to warming up, interrupting copy job. Maybe they are dirty or gap is far too big.
