I have a customer with an e282 who is requesting a newer machine due to they got 1 new pc with Windows 8 and toshiba does not have Win 8 driver. What are you guys doing to connect e282 to Win 8 print/scan smb? Thnx for your inputs

I have no idea how Windows 8 SMB works, but I configured Filezilla FTP server on a Win8 computer without any trouble (just remember to add the filezilla_server.exe to the firewall allowances). If your toshiba scans via FTP, it can be a solution for you.' "But the salesman said . . ." The salesman's an asshole!'

I haven't had any issues installing current driver on Win8 machines. There isn't much of a difference between 7 and 8 so the drivers will work on both.Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?Comment
