Toshiba 3510c - CA00 Error - Yellow is printing gradient

    Good afternoon....again,
Thanks to you friendly people, I got a new transfer belt for this machine, and it is printing, however now there is another problem.

    I am getting a CA00 or CE40 error.
The 08-573 is the only error counter going up.
I changed the yellow developer, still the same.

I have printed a totally yellow page and you can clearly see it looks like a gradient, so I'm assuming this printing behaviour is causing the error. The gradient is the same orientation if printing A4 or A4-R.

Would anybody know why this problem is occurring?

    Thanks again,
    Sam

Looks like the Spring for the 2nd Transfer Roller for yellow inside the ITB unit is missing or the Roller Bushing is jammed down on 1 side.

Just to close and finalise this thread I have fixed the problem.

I don't think this is what you were referring to, but led me to the problem.

What was wrong, was something I must have done when I was fitting a new transfer belt - again it's hard to describe with my limited knowledge of part names, but on the attached picture where the black arrow points is a plastic part (same on both sides) that moves and is attached to another roller (on bottom side next to drive roller).

This plastic part makes contact with another plastic part which is supposed to sit up under the black plastic part indicated by the red arrow - again I'm sorry about the description, just doing my best in case somebody ever has the same problem. It seems that it can easily be moved out of position if you don't know what you are doing.

So it was just a case pushing them back in to position, back under the black part, so the the roller got the tension it was supposed to get.

          Thanks again.
