    CHanging Template Locations on a E-Studio 853 and 520

Currently we have 2 Toshiba E-Studio copiers, Model 853 and 520 that are used to scan documents to a local computer..

They have been operational for a few years without problems..

This passed month we upgraded all the computers to Windows 7 from XP and now the Toshibas are acting finiky..

The problem is the location we save the scanned documents to is on a Windows 2000 Desktop which only allows 10 users to share the drive..

I would like to replace the computer with either a Windows XP or 7 desktop, but the Toshibas have many templates setup pointing to the current computer..

If I change the computer I will have to manually go in and reset the location of the templates..

Not sure how many we have, but there are 42 main templates then each one has multiple templates underneath..

It would be very time consuming to have to change...

The current location structure we save scanned docs to for example is

    \\scanserver\scanserver Drive E\ Medical Billing\doctor
    \\scanserver\scanserver Drive E\ Medical Billing\doctor1
    \\scanserver\scanserver Drive E\ Medical Billing\doctor2
    \\scanserver\scanserver Drive E\ Medical Billing\doctor3

I would need a way to change the location

I have figured out how to backup the templates, but it saves it as a ENC file..

Is there a way to get this into an Excel format??

Then I could change the template locations in one step

Is there another way I am missing to change the template file locations easily??

    Thanks

Setup the "new computer" with the same directory structure and name as the current one.
Power off the old computer (or change the name)
power on the new one and see if it works.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

I had thought of that, but was wondering if there was an easy way to change the templates..

the current share name is not setup well and causes other problems..

i would like to change that, but would have to do each one manually thanks for the suggestion
