Toshiba es 352/353 going through toner and waste bins fast??

What causes these machines to burn through toner bottles and waste bins really fast? Drum was replaced recently, developer isn't that old. There doesn't seem to be noticeable background, customer says they are replacing waste bins once a week and toner every two weeks.

I just ran the 05-200 when I was on-site a couple days ago fixing a jamming issue.

I'm leaning toward main charge wire, but might do developer while I'm there

    Any wisdom to share?

Remove the toner when replacing the developer. The toner continues to rotate in 05 200,so it could be giving an unusually high level of toner when initializing

check dev ground strap. If this is not making good contact it will also cause this.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

Use code 05-201. I am sure on some models using the 05-200 codes resets the dev in pm support mode, making the machine think it has new dev. How old is the dev in the machine (time it has been in there/last changed, copies)? Is it just eating toner and not dev. Have you done the screwdriver in the waste toner bottle magic trick?
It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.

"screwdriver in the waste toner bottle magic trick?" Don't know that one, do share.
Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?

Vac out the drum cleaning station, new waste toner bottle. Then do some copies/prints then stick a magnetised screwdriver in the waste bottle or pour it out and do it that way. See how much dev sticks to the driver. Is it just me who does this ?

Gotcha, I have done that before. I thought you were referring to some kind of trick to help with excess toner waste.

Reminds me on what some people did on the e35 models. Increased/decreased the laser power to compensate for poor/dark cq. Could check that on this machine to make sure it is at the default setting.

Make sure your discharge lamps are coming on...unplugged or burnt out will use excessive toner. easy way to check is to run a skyshot..if no edge deletions, then lamp is not working. EMujo
