    Toshiba 1550 "red light"

    Hi!
    I have a Toshiba copier in 1550 which appeared on the red light in the shape of little man. Someone can point me how to reset it? thank

    shut down, Hold 08 Turn on type 79 ooo pausa 000 pausa e poi risparmio energetico! La Pausa e quella con le due linie e la freccia in mezza!

          First you should see what's wrong with the machine. Press and hold "clear" and "8" key simultaneosly. On the display it should appear an error code. The reset harry posted is for the fuser and it is the wrong one. Power up the machine with the "0" and "8" keys pressed, type 89, then 0 then start. This should reset the fuser. It occurs frequently because of power variations. Good luck.

            Little Man is Counter for Maintanance My reply was maintanance reset not Fuser reset look at SM. Fuser reset is 08 89.

              Indeed, Harry was right. That's the way you reset the PM counter. Sorry, my bad.

                Just in case anyone else wants a fix to this fault, i tend to use a decent permanent marker pen to black out the red LED. Works every time.
                It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.

                  I solved it by removing the red light, setting and resetting the codes with the PM setting 69 and 79, probably had not been cleared in a previous maintenance. Thanks to all
