Toshiba e-STUDIO 2500c hard drive replacement

A week or so ago I got an F120 error on our Toshiba, I found how to clear the message and boot. However, today I got a HDD failed to mount error. I removed the old drive, found an 80 GB WD SATA replacement, removed all partitions. My understanding is that now I need firmware to put on a USB stick and then startup and install the hard drive partitions. Can somebody please send me the firmware for the Toshiba e-STUDIO 2500c? I don't know what version firmware was loaded or any other specifics, it won't boot into 08 mode. Appreciate any help.

If you are willing to pay for the firmware and service manuals, contact Paul at just manuals. I would advise that you get version 2xx and 3xx and update in sequence. Maybe he'll make you a deal for the bundle. There aren't too many techs on this site that are willing to part with that kind of stuff for free, and beware of firmware from another part of the world as this may put you in another bind. EMujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.
