Re: jamming out of tray 1
You left out the type of MFP. Could be important. Try swapping the feed heads to see if symptom travels to different tray, Could be a simple feed sensor hanging up. Post the error code also, some jams can be caused by HDD issues. EmujoIf you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.Comment

Re: jamming out of tray 1
Have a look at the paper guides (wall) in the tray that keep the paper from moving around. These guides on the Toshiba's are weak and when users are filling paper they hit the guide which sits at the back, which moves a few millimeters causing the paper to coming out of the tray a few millimeters to much to the left and it catches in the fuser.Comment

Re: jamming out of tray 1
I am assuming you are aware of the the porblems with the guides/mylars/actuators on these models. They may be the first thing to try depending on the copy count (not always a good yardstick but helps). Also have a close look at the guide which sits above the tray 1 on the machine. It contains the transport/alignment and reg senor. That guide does not get replaced in parts recommended by the bsi note on this model. Take a close look, may be some wear on there causing this.It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.Comment
