    [Error Code] Toshiba e-studio 2830C

This copier throws an error CA00 which is cleared with a powercycle. Black drum is coated with heavy wear and black specs and will need to be replaced. Any ideas or experience on the error CA00 would be greatly appreciated. Also complaining of ADF skew. Found no obstructions in ADF. Noticed pick up and separation roller don't sit flush together.

What parts have you changed for the CA00 error code?
It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.

Check PM life of consumables - Hold 9+Start Power on >103 Start & check the life of Black drum unit - replace Drum, Blade, Charge & Grid if over 70K also resurface mag roller if shiny with fine emery paper, if Dev is replaced perform Black Dev Initialisation, clean Patch Detect Sensors with cotton bud as a vacuum will not clean efficiently, then perform Calibration.

Common with the black drum on these. Replace black EPU reset counters and run calibration.
It is common really on all the units, especially if they do not have the grooved mag roller.
