Problem in Toshiba e-studio 350

I have a Toshiba machine Studio 350
Green top arm on DRAM Koruna was broken. Does this affect the image quality, with the knowledge that's out black sides lengthwise, and what is cheap savings solution

The green bit may need to be fully removed from the charge unit but t should not effect the running of the machine. I have yet to see anyone use these to clean the charger wire.
