OK, the morning fog has lifted, so I am going to restate my problem. I know how to get rid of the fax stuff, either through the above mentioned ways, or through TopAccess, so don't worry about that part. However, on the network end. What the customer wants is to perform scanning the same way as it is set up in another office. They press Scan button, then "Scan To File". When the screen comes up to input file name, etc. they can change evrything but the "MFP Local" setting. It is set with the previous owner's name, and is grayed over, so it can't be edited. Looked at TopAccess admin settings and all the 08 codes, the settings under admin on the control panel, and I can't find where to change it or even unlock that option. As previously stated, I can reload firmware, etc., but could someone clue me in as to where in the hell I can make that change? I would really like to know for future reference. This location is almost a 2 hour drive, and I would like to go there tomorrow morning, or better yet, talk the customer through it over the phone.""
