I've attached an image of the problem for you to check out. It only happens on certain areas. Around the middle of the page, and the bottom of the page. Only on bold black print.

I'd start by checking the fuser assembly. There are a couple gears that wear on the fuser unit itself and can cause that issue. Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"? -

Agreed. Check fuser belt condition & sponge roller.Comment

Gears, and belt are both fine. Gears look fine, I applied some grease anyway. Fuser belt looks nearly immaculate. Fuser Had a MK put on it just before thanksgiving. So about 2 months ago. Problem just surfaced this past Thursday. Also swapped the Y and K drum. No change.Comment

run a sky shot & check image on transfer belt. If bad swap charge units around, if okay look at 2nd transferComment

What is a sky shot, and how would I run it? We're primarily a Kyocera dealer. These Kyoshiba's are the bane of my existence. Never had any training on this beast, just had to figure it all out on my own. Been keeping them going for years. One of them (Not the problem machine) has about 1.6 million pages.Comment

Depending on direction of feed it could be Pressure Roller - check for Toner adhesion or 1st Transfer Roller inside ITB Unit for flat area.Comment
