230 puts fold in 11X8.5 when duplexing

Have a customer with an Estudio 230. When duplexing the copier is putting a double fold in the paper and 1 side of the 2 sided copy's registration is off. It only does it on 11x8.5. If I turn the paper direction to 8.5X11 it works fine. They do not want to leave it that way as they print documents from the HD and it was scanned in as 11X8.5 so when they request copies it asks them to insert that paper direction.
Has anyone seen this issue? I have tried all the usual stuff like cleaning paper sensors etc.

I am guessing no one has seen this before? They are running fine with the paper turned but I would like to find an answer to this issue.

it's the relay clutch it behind the fly wheel under a plastic cover very simple to change and this is a common problem so order one for stock take off back cover and you will see the round flywheel remove it three screws then you will se a black cove remove that and now you will see relay clutch

ive also seen the cassettes not fitting right so if this isn't the top drawer switch that cassette to a different spot in the machine and see if it still does it if it does you will know the problem is in the cassette if it's the top drawer that one is different than the others it's smaller
