toshiba e353 says "dispose of used toner"

Replaced with a new waste cont, replace sensor, replace drum unit, cleared counters, checked wires nothing cut or pinched.
Any ideas?
warms up and goes right to the error whether the sensors plugged in or not.

Check the photo interrupter sensor mounted on the main drive. It detects if the cleaning auger assembly on the drum unit is clogged or not by sensing the position of the auger shaft. That sensor might be dirty or defective, which will generate a "dispose of used toner" message.

This is a 353 the waste bottle is in the front.

I know that. But there is a secondary waste toner full detection method in something goes wrong in the cleaner assembly and the toner is unable to evacuate to the toner waste bottle. That's what I was talking about. Page 11-2 of Service Manual:

(d) Toner bag full detection sensor-1The sensor detects the toner bag full when it is pushed by the toner recovery auger in the
cleaner which is given a pressure from the used toner in the toner bag.

Isnt the cleaner built into the drum unit itself? because ive changed the drum unit (complete with the sensor) and still no go.

You're correct, the cleaner is built into the drum unit and there is a sensor that mounts to the drum unit which detects if toner is full in the toner waste bottle. However, the cleaner assembly is spring loaded and moves back and forth on it's shaft. If the auger doesn't return to home position it is detected by a photo interrupter mounted on the main drive assembly at the rear of the copier behind the boards. I believe you said you already replaced the entire drum unit, so it would seem that the auger itself isn't stuck but that there is an issue with the sensor. Since the sensor is mounted on the drive assembly it can easily get dirty, and I've seen them fail from time to time. This may not be your issue, but it's a section that some techs miss because it's not immediately obvious that a sensor mounted on the main drive could cause the "Dispose of used toner" message.

Thanks for the clarification, I can honestly say after working on 100's of these, Ive never even seen that sensor much less had this happen.
