    RULES

Ill tell ya if you plan on working on these machines and have no experience working on business equipment, even if you buy manuals chances are you don't have enough grasp to service these machines especially color machines. Like this guy here soldiertec I've been helping him for 3 weeks and made no head way what's so ever. Thinking all along he was a trained tech and now he tells me he has no experience. My point being you should have to be a trained tech in some kind of business equipment they must not have any support overseas. If it were me I would have called a local dealer to look at the machine instead of a million p.m.'s back and fourth. We charge 120.00 per hour if he was billable we would be up to a grand at this point

Yes, this site is for techs helping techs. Not helping customers. Is this guy a G.I. at a military base and he got stuck with the job of fixing the machines???? Uncle Sam can hire someone that knows what they are doing. I will help as much as I can but it gets to the point that you might as well just go fix it for the guy for free. They arn't going to get it. Don't spend anymore of your time with him.

Put him on your Ignore list - I don't know if that will block him from PMing you though.

I strike these sorts of people in my hobby which is R/C Aircraft. Some people have a total inability to grasp physical and mechanical principles, or even worse, the inability to do any sort of research.

"Where can I get a plane like that?"
"Oh, I built this one from plans I found online, it's called a Blaster, I dont remember the website"
"Oh.... can you email me the link once you have found it again"
          *sigh* - Just google it?

Then they do get the plans and want spoonfed every little detail about how it was done.
