Toshiba Firmware

I have come to the conclusion that a firmware reload is necessary. I am sure I read that 4006 was also loaded on machines in Australia ( our nearest neibour).

If you are able to send me the file that would be great. Do you know what the file size is? Will it go by email or is it too big?

1. To upgrade V320 to 321 or later I have read on these forums that you need to upgrade from one version to the next in steps. I assume you can't just go from V320 to V4006 in one go.
2. Where can I get the various firmware versions for this unit. I have searched the net for the past week looking for firmware and descriptive instructions/proceedure for loading firmware but have come up blank. I assume the code is loaded onto a usb stick and 0-8-797 Firmware Download (which is set to 0 at present) will flash the code onto the unit.

Yes I can't access Top Access. I can ping the IP address but when I try to access from Internet Explorer (http://192.168.0.11) it just says waiting for http://192.168.0.11 then after a period of time Internet Explorer cant display this page message. I have tried it on XP Home, XP Pro ( New install) and Win Server2003 Three different machines with the same result. Antivirus is not a issue.

Another thing (and this may be a red herring) 0-8-933 Web data whole version = ----

If I try ftp ftp://192.168.0.11 it comes up with a username/password challenge screen. Not sure what username/password to use. Have tried admin/aministrator/public etc and 123456 but can't get past this screen.

I would suspect that without a value in the 08-933 that you have an incorrect or incomplete firmware on the machine. Also here in the USA there is no version 340 for this machine. I can get the USA version 4006 which includes the download instructions, but I do not know if it will work where you are at.

Driver sees printer but can't print. I have put into trial mode to try to sort this out before purchasing a Print/scan enabler.

USB/CX printer ports- computer can see ports but not print to it.

I believe either reloading the firmware or upgrading the firmware will help sort the problem out.

Copier works as a copier fine.

Any help appreciated

when you say "can't access web functions, do you mean you cant access Top Access?"
if not, try to disable you antivirus to see if its blocking the print.
i had a case where an antivirus blocked me from accessing it

On this model, if you do not have the print enabler then you can not print/view the web page of the machine. If it works in trial mode then when you put the enabler in then you need to change nothing...

Also since you are at v320 the pm counters will not function correctly until you go to at least version 321. The latest version is v4006 on the es350 and v340 on the es352/353 series.

Toshiba E-Studio 4511 Language

Hi all

i have 2 problems with my toshiba 4511 and i need someone help

FIRST: when i open my toshiba i find language (svenska ) and i can't change it from the language menu as there is no other language .. and when i went to the settings 08-220 i can't change No. 5 language to any other language (when i change to No. 1 and restart the machince i find is changed automatically to No. 5 again)

SECOND: when i give a print order from the computer using any connection (USB , Parallel or Network) the data led keeps blinking but no printing is there and even when i go to job status i find no orders there,, and the copier can't do any thing till i restart it..

Noting that all process of coping is working super fine ..

Can any body help me Please .. i think it needs a firmware upgrade but i can't find for more than 4 month till now thanks in advance

E Studio 3511 Firmware Update

Can I get a copy of the latest firm ware for the E 3511.

Would it be possible for you to send me a copy of the firmware too. I have had the CEB0 error and replaced the clutch. I'd like to update the firmware too as I understand there is a patch in it for this error.
