"copying and printing are unavailable" with the error codes:

1. 03-785
2. 03-408
3. 03-700
4. 20-331
5. 03-331

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue with Workcentre 232.
Machine will not work without finisher.

Copying and Printing are unavailable

I am having the same problem. my machine is a Document Centre 545

the finisher has been removed however I have went into the diagnostic finisher mode and set it to 100 which is none. and tried 67 which is plain tray.

there are no fault codes. the copier appears to be functional and comes to ready except for the unavailable message.

you can load a job in the que but it says paused.

It also had the network box in the back but it is not connected.

checked everything. no jams or errors or faults!!!

anyone have any ideas?

will not work without finisher or oct tray, no matter what you change in diagnostic.
